Our state-of-the-art birthing center ensures every baby gets the best start in life. Neonatal care at Kootenai Health is designed for babies who need special monitoring and medical attention. Our Level III neonatal intensive care (NICU) can care for babies born as early as 26 weeks gestation, and our neonatologists and NICU staff are certified to nurture fragile newborns.
