When minutes and millimeters matter, neurosurgeons rely heavily on technology and tools to perform the most intricate of procedures in the operating room.

Kootenai Health wants to acquire two additional pieces of technology. This equipment will enhance Kootenai Health’s neurosurgery capabilities, keeping us on the leading edge in this field.

THE FOREFRONT OF NEUROSURGERY TECHNOLOGY

When operating on the brain, spinal cord and nerves, precision is paramount. These two necessary pieces of equipment will improve patient outcomes through less blood loss, faster recovery and minimizing the need for more surgery.

Cranial Navigation
This guided visual technology allows surgeons to see structures in greater detail so they can operate with the utmost precision.

Kinevo Microscope

This microscope provides greater visual acuity with state-of-the-art function. This equipment combines optical and digital visualization for precise instrumentation placement.
